About this event

Join us for an introduction to two popular ceramic decorating techniques: sgraffito and mishima. Students will learn how to carve through layers of colored slip and underglaze to create detailed imagery and patterns, as well as how to inlay contrasting colors into carved lines for crisp, graphic designs. Perfect for beginners and experienced clay artists alike, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to add more depth and personality to your ceramic surfaces!
