In this 3 day workshop, learn how to wheel-throw all the necessary parts to create a functional lidded teapot! Day 1: May 31st, 10am-1pm -Learn about teapot styles and how they relate to specific teas. -Spiral wedging -Throwing all of the parts of the teapot Day 2: June 1st, 10am-12pm -Assembling parts of teapot -Consideration in glazing Day 3: June 16th, 10am-11am -1hr demo glazing -students will have the remainder of the day to finish glazing their teapots during Open Studios 11am-6pm. Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Where you’ll be
There is additional parking behind the studio just off of E19th street. If you are parking in the back, please enter the studio from the front entrance located on Park Blvd
Cancellation Policy
One-Time & Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your class, you must email info@merrittceramics.com 48 hours in advance to receive a refund minus a $10 transaction fee. After that time there is no refund or rescheduling. Any rescheduling at any time, if available, will cost $10.
