Don't miss the chance to learn from internationally celebrated ceramic artist, Moon Do Bang, in a special 2-day hands-on workshop at Merritt Ceramics! Moon Do Bang is known for his stunning Moon Jars, a traditional Korean ceramic shape that has become iconic for its graceful simplicity and cultural significance. Day 1: March 25th, 10am-5pm* Day 2: March 26th, 10am-5pm* *one hour lunch break each day In this workshop you'll have the unique opportunity to work directly with Moon as he guides you through the process of creating your own Moon Jar. There will be demonstration, throwing time, and one on one with Moon! Moon Do Bang will be speaking in Korean and translated by Miki Shim. Level: Must know how to throw cylinders on the pottery wheel and be comfortable throwing 3lbs of clay. Workshop includes*: 25lbs of Bmix clay and tools. *Please note that this workshop does not include firing or glazing of your pieces. There is additional parking behind the studio just off of E19th street. If you are parking in the back, please enter the studio from the front entrance located on Park Blvd
Cancellation Policy
One-Time & Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your class, you must email info@merrittceramics.com 72 hours in advance to receive a refund minus a $20 transaction fee. After that time there is no refund or rescheduling.
