In this workshop, you will be guided through the basic process of making your own clay ornamental flowers from scratch by expert ceramicist Phoebe Deutsch. You will learn about the slab building method and get hands-on making two different types of ceramic flowers. Phoebe will also give you tips on how to create unique designs using texturing techniques, and underglazes before you learn how to prepare your piece for firing. Ceramic flowers will last you a lifetime, so if you're looking for sustainable gift ideas or personalized artwork for your home, you can't pass up this experience! One-Time & Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your class, you must email info@merrittceramics.com 48 hours in advance to receive a refund minus a $10 transaction fee. After that time there is no refund or rescheduling. Any rescheduling at any time, if available, will cost $10.
