Learn how to take your handbuilding skills to the next level with sculpture artist, Emily Tarner. This is a great workshop for intermediate handbuilders who want to develop stronger handbuilding techniques to build bigger forms. Day 1: Saturday June 8th, 10am-2pm -How to choose the right materials and supplies -Learning intermediate handbuilding techniques (ie. internal structures) -Building bigger more efficiently Day 2: Sunday June 9, 10am-2pm -Diving deeper into shaping abstract forms -Build build build Day 3: Saturday June 15th, 10am-2pm -Working with color and texture in relation to form. Level: Intermediate Materials Included: 25lbs clay, tools, underglazes, slips, firing. Note: Surface color will be from underglazes and slips. There is no glazing day. Students will have the option of choosing from shiny or matte clear glaze or no glaze.

Cancellation Policy

One-Time & Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your class, you must email info@merrittceramics.com 48 hours in advance to receive a refund minus a $10 transaction fee. After that time there is no refund or rescheduling. Any rescheduling at any time, if available, will cost $10.
